Apply to an open campaign

Campaign Applications let you apply to join a campaign run by another GM. You fill in a short form about yourself and your preferences, and the GM reviews your application and either approves or rejects it.

Finding a Campaign

Browse the public campaign listings to find campaigns that are open to applications.

Submitting an Application

When you find a campaign you’d like to join, click the Apply button on the campaign’s dashboard. This opens the application form.

Character Concept

Describe the character you’d like to play. If you provide something here, it must be at least 10 characters long. This is your chance to pitch your character idea to the GM.

Experience Level

Select the option that best describes your TTRPG experience:

Option	Meaning
New	Little or no prior TTRPG experience
Intermediate	Some experience with one or more systems
Veteran	Extensive experience across many sessions or campaigns

Availability

Available Days

Check the days of the week you’re generally available to play. This helps the GM understand your schedule.

Session Start Time / End Time

Enter your preferred session window (e.g. 05:00 PM to 08:00 PM).

Timezone

Select your UTC offset so the GM can compare your availability against the campaign’s schedule.

Preferences

RP vs Combat

A slider representing your preferred balance between roleplay and combat:

Left	RP Heavy
Centre	Balanced (default)
Right	Combat Focused

Tone

A slider representing your preferred campaign tone:

Centre	Balanced (default)
Right	Casual

External Link

A URL to any relevant external resource, such as a D&D Beyond character sheet or a character backstory document. Must be a valid URL starting with https://.

Additional Notes (optional)

Any other information you’d like the GM to know. Maximum 255 characters.

Submitting the Form

Click Apply to submit. You’ll be redirected back to the campaign dashboard and the GM will be notified of your application.

Updating Your Application

If your availability or preferences change before the GM has made a decision, you can return to the campaign’s apply page and edit your answers. Click Update to save the changes.

Withdrawing Your Application

To cancel your application, return to the apply page and click the Delete button. Your application will be removed immediately.

Application Statuses

Status	Meaning
Pending	Your application has been submitted and is awaiting a GM decision.
Approved	The GM accepted your application. You are now a member of the campaign.
Rejected	The GM declined your application. You will receive an in-app notification.

Once the GM reviews your application and either approves or rejects it you’ll get a notification.

Once an application is approved or rejected, it can no longer be edited or withdrawn.
